This page documents my longer-form research projects. Each project begins with a question I genuinely want to understand, uses evidence from multiple perspectives, and remains open to challenge and revision.
My work is still developing. An “In Progress” project contains questions, working hypotheses and early evidence—not a final conclusion.

Why do my classmates and I like Pop Mart—and what makes that interest last or fade?
I chose Pop Mart because I genuinely enjoy its products and often see my classmates discussing and collecting them. I want to understand what first creates that interest, what makes it continue, and what may cause it to fade.

How Each Project Is Structured
Question
I begin with a specific question rather than a preferred conclusion.
Evidence
I examine primary sources, data, observations and different perspectives.
Challenge
I look for alternative explanations and evidence that may weaken my initial view.
Revision
I record what changed, why it changed and what remains uncertain.
Research Status
In Progress
The research question, method or evidence is still developing. No final conclusion should be assumed.
Published
The project has passed my publication checks, but it may still be revised if new evidence appears.
Archived
The project is no longer actively updated, but remains available as part of the research record.
Before I Publish
A project is not treated as completed simply because a draft exists. Before a long-form research project is published, I check whether its important claims can be traced to sources, whether evidence and interpretation are clearly separated, whether counterarguments and limitations are included, and whether I can explain the work in my own words.
- Important factual claims have traceable sources
- Evidence is separated from interpretation
- Counterarguments are addressed fairly
- Limitations and uncertainty are stated
- Calculations can be checked
- Privacy is protected
- AI and external assistance are disclosed accurately
- Revisions and corrections can be recorded openly
